Ukulele Build
5 session – 6 hours
You only need to purchase Session 1. By doing so, you will automatically be enrolled for the full 5 session course.
Maker’s Bench and Uke Can Build It are happy to announce our upcoming ukulele build at Maker’s Bench. You may know that Seth (one of our Maker’s Bench instructors) is also an instructor in the lutherie program at Red Rocks Community College School of Fine Woodworking and has put together a 5 day class for ukulele construction. Students will learn about construction methods and materials as well as concepts in acoustic instrument construction. Each student will build their own concert ukulele using top quality materials: Mahogany back, top, sides, and neck. Black walnut fingerboard and bridge. Hardwood accents , rosette, strings, and top of the line Gotoh tuners are included. The build will take place over 5 consecutive Saturdays this fall from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM each day with ½ hour for lunch.

- No experience required
- Class size limited to 10, minimum of 5
- 30 minute break for lunch
- Please no loose fitting clothes, dangling jewelry, long sleeves that cannot be pushed up and tie back long hair
